TEEN THERAPY
“I matured and changed so much because of you, Helen. Thanks for always listening to me and being there for me...”
TEEN THERAPY
Being a teenager comes with intense changes, emotions, and pressures - and the challenges of recent years have only made things harder.
You might feel overwhelmed by the expectations of school, family, friendships, or pressures you put on yourself. Maybe you're frequently worrying about the future, questioning if you're good enough, or feeling weighed down by stress, sadness, or self-doubt. When these pressures build up over time, they can lead to feelings of anxiety, depression, panic, shame, or guilt.
Therapy provides a safe space to:
Understand what’s causing you distress
Develop healthier ways to manage thoughts, emotions and behaviors
Get to know your developing self identity, what matters to you and how to communicate with others
Build confidence and resilience
Because a teen’s well-being is often connected to their home environment, I also provide ongoing support and consultation with parents or caregivers. This collaboration allows us to address concerns, track progress, and explore how the family can work together to create a supportive environment.
You don’t have to navigate these challenges alone - therapy helps teens and their families.
